In a shocking development, actress Shilpa Shirodkar bid adieu to the Bigg Boss 18 house just four days before the show’s end. She was evicted from the show in a mid-week elimination, leaving housemates emotional. Art director Omung Kumar entered the house to hand her a letter informing her about the elimination. After her exit, Shilpa recently sat down for a few media interactions, talking about her journey in the house.

In a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, she credited Karan Veer Mehra for their intact bond and unwavering dedication to each other despite all the criticism and jokes.

Speaking on Karan Veer Mehra standing strong by her despite all the negativity and opposition, Shilpa Shirodkar mentioned, “Had it not been for Karan, the bond would not be this strong. The way Karan used to get bashed every weekend. Log aate the ghar me, karan ko jante the, karan ko sunate the. Bigg Boss bolte the. Weekend ke vaar pe guests bolte the. Salman ne Mazak udaya hai. I have been unfair to him on so many occasions, most of it in the nomination thing. Even then, Karan stood strong with me because he believed that I was doing things not because I was a player but because of the simplicity of my mind. He just stood by me. Aur koi b hota, poore ghar ne uska Mazak udaya end tak. But he said, I trust Shilpa. I know to usi bharose pe usne ye rishta rakha hai.”

During a separate conversation with SCREEN, Shilpa Shirodkar also shared her favourite contestant of the season whom she wants to see lifting the trophy. She elaborated, “My personal favourite is Karan. I have seen him grow from being criticised to being appreciated to wanting this so badly. After Karan, it should be Chum, her growth has been unreal. Then obviously it would be Vivian.”

Shilpa Shirodkar also had something to say about Rajat Dalal as she mentioned that she did not understand the contestant. She continued, “The kind of human he portrayed to be or shows, I have not met people like that, so he is a character I have not understood. If people think he deserves the trophy, I am no one to judge that.”

Bigg Boss 18 will see its finale on January 19 with Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, Avinash Mishra and Eisha Singh as the finalists.
