Thirty years ago, on December 3rd, 1994, Sony released the very first PlayStation in Japan.

Since then, the Japanese tech giant has launched four more console generations that have made a global impact not only on gamers but pop culture. You might have never picked up a PlayStation controller, but if you’re a gamer, you’ll know of titles like God of War, Jak & Daxter, Infamous, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, and The Last of Us. And if you’re not a gamer, you might have seen the Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland or the Twisted Metal series starring Anthony Mackie — that’s two Avengers! And if you haven’t seen or heard of either of those, you’ve probably watched The Last of Us, a global phenomenon filmed in Canada and starring Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal.

So, my weekend question is, what’s your favourite PlayStation exclusive released in the last 30 years? Growing up, I loved the Infamous series and always thought Jak & Daxter was fun. 2018’s God of War was also incredibly fun and touching. However, my favourite PlayStation exclusive has to be Bloodborne, which is probably my favourite title ever. I’m waiting for a Demon’s Souls-like remake with 60fps, but PlayStation keeps playing with my heart.
