Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne have reportedly split after eight years of marriage and rumours about the status of their relationship – but just hours before the bombshell split they both took to social media to post very different pictures
EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne, famed for his time on TOWIE, have parted ways. But, just hours prior to the bombshell news, Dan was spotted grinning and posing for photos online.
The pair, who have been wedded for eight years, are said to have ended their relationship. Reports suggest that Jacqueline, 32, has stayed in their family residence with their children, while Dan has relocated to a nearby location.
This startling revelation arrives mere weeks after the couple found themselves at the centre of rumours regarding their relationship status, which they had previously denied.

On Saturday, March 15, just hours before the news broke, it appears that Dan and Jacqueline had markedly contrasting days. Dan took to his Instagram stories to document his workout session with his 11 year old son Teddy at Ripped Gym in Basildon, Essex. As he snapped a mirror selfie with Teddy, his beaming smile was evident.
Conversely, Jacqueline appeared utterly devastated as she turned to social media. The mother of two shared a series of sombre-looking snaps on her Instagram Stories. Captioned ‘Saturday’, the images showed the actress clad in a black and white striped short-sleeved top paired with light blue jeans. Despite being made up, her expression was anything but cheerful.
A source confided to The Sun: “Jacqueline and Dan are on a break and are spending time apart from each other. It’s not been easy for them lately and they have made this difficult decision.” The insider also revealed that the couple’s future remains uncertain but emphasised the necessity of their current separation.
Furthermore, the source stated that Jacqueline and Dan are maintaining an “amicable” stance while addressing the challenges in their marriage. They also clarified that there are no external factors influencing their choices: “Jac and Dan have been rocked by their fair share of scandals but this situation could not be further from that,” said the source.
Since tying the knot in 2017 at a lavish Cheshire venue, Jacqueline and Dan have seen their family grow. They’re devoted parents to daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, six, in addition to Dan’s son Tommy, 11, from a previous relationship. However, the path hasn’t always been smooth – claims of misconduct with a high-profile model in 2015 were just the start of troubles for the pair.
The spectre of unfaithfulness loomed again with allegations involving Gabby Allen of Love Island fame, straining their union further, yet Jacqueline has consistently claimed they’ve faced and resolved these issues together. Just last year, Jacqueline offered a candid look into their private life, aiming to dispel ongoing rumours about Dan’s fidelity and possible separations.
Jacqueline Jossa posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband Dan Osborne on social media, accompanied by a series of affectionate photos. She wrote: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more! !”.
However, this display of affection comes after a tumultuous period in their relationship. In 2020, Dan publicly acknowledged his past mistakes, stating, “I’ve done things I shouldn’t have done.” This admission came a week after Jacqueline’s victory on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
At the time, Dan issued a statement, saying: “So after weeks, months and years of constant articles and rumours, some true, some very untrue I want to publicly say I know I have made mistakes. We all do as humans, but I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family.”
He continued, “I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my three incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be. Jac, myself and our families are excited for the future, one filled with love and happiness together.
