The official trailer for SPIT, the highly anticipated Australian comedy from the award-winning team behind Gettin’ Square, has been released.

Written by Gold Coast-based writer and lawyer and writer of Gettin’ Square Christopher Nyst, SPIT sees the return of beloved character Johnny (Spit) Spitieri, played by David Wenham.

David Wenham will embark on a national Q&A screening tour from Sunday Feb 9 when SPIT will have its Queensland premiere on the Gold Coast as part of the AACTA Festival.

David – with filmmakers and other cast members for selected screenings – will then travel to Brisbane, Toowoomba, Maroochydore, Townsville, Cairns, Sydney, Avoca Beach, Newcastle, Wollongong, Hobart and Adelaide for Q&A screenings at multiple cinema locations.  Other locations will be announced in the new year.
